The founder's story

I am Captain Vinit Kumar, a Merchant Navy officer who is spending more than 25 years sailing across oceans. From outside, a Captain’s life looks glamorous, authority, pride, and power. But in reality, it is long nights, endless mails, fatigue, and the silent weight of responsibility. The sea has tested me in ways no land ever could, but it has also taught me life’s most valuable lesson 'purity and integrity are everything.'

At sea, there are no shortcuts. A small compromise can risk lives, cargo, and trust. That same belief became the foundation of Captain’s Honey.

In 2019, when I discovered that most honey in the market was adulterated, processed, and stripped of its natural goodness, I feel the same gap I usually  see in shipping responsibility without honesty.

So I decided to create a brand built on my sailor’s values. Captain’s Honey is not just honey or honey products it is a promise. A promise that what you taste is exactly what the bees have created like pure, raw, and untouched given by the nature.

Our Process

 Raw Honey from beekeeper's

We source our honey directly from trusted beekeepers who care for their bees and hives with dedication. Our bees collect nectar from different flowers depending on the season, which gives each honey variety its own natural taste and health benefits. We are connected with a wide network of beekeepers.
Once the honey is ready, it is carefully harvested using a traditional extraction process that does not involve heating or chemicals. This way, the honey keeps all its natural goodness, enzymes, pollen, and nutrients just as the bees made it.
Every batch is thoroughly tested to ensure it is pure, free from adulteration, and safe for you and your family. Finally, the honey is packed in airtight, hygienic jars, ready to bring the gift of nature straight to your home.
